During the fourth quarter of 2022, the top 5 sports apps in Egypt showcased varied performance metrics in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.

EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile Soccer had a remarkable quarter. Weekly downloads saw a significant increase, peaking at approximately 173K in the week of December 19. Revenue also surged towards the end of the quarter, reaching around $18K in the same week. Active users grew steadily, topping at over 3.2M by the end of December.

Soccer Superstar observed a consistent rise in downloads, with the highest being about 153K in the last week of December. Revenue also climbed gradually, peaking at $87 in the week of December 19. Active users increased, ending the quarter with approximately 482K weekly active users.

Football League 2024, despite being a newer entrant, saw impressive download numbers, with a peak of around 246K in the week of December 5. Active users also rose sharply, reaching about 444K by mid-December.

Dream League Soccer 2024 experienced a steady increase in both downloads and active users. Downloads peaked at around 79K in the week of December 12, while active users saw a high of approximately 670K in the week of December 5. Revenue showed modest gains, peaking at $1.5K in early December.

Revenue experienced a significant increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching about $7.6K in the week of December 19. Active users, however, displayed a slight decline, ending the quarter with approximately 1.05M.
